Job Overview:

The Labor And Employment Associate Attorney will primarily focus on handling wage and hour class actions and working with substantive Illinois employment law matters. The ideal candidate should possess strong academic credentials, excellent writing skills, and the ability to produce high-quality work while managing multiple assignments concurrently. Illinois Bar admission is required for this role.

Duties:

• Handle various aspects of wage and hour class actions.
• Provide legal support and advice on substantive Illinois employment law issues.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Assist in the preparation of hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff across offices on various projects and cases.
• Stay updated on changes in labor and employment laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• 3-4 years of experience in employment litigation.
• Specific expertise in wage and hour class actions.
• Familiarity with affirmative action/OFCCP compliance is advantageous.
• Illinois Bar admission.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Illinois Bar.
