Job Duties:

• Conducting legal research and analysis on various issues
• Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Assisting with trial preparation and participating in court proceedings
• Negotiating settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
• Providing legal advice and guidance to clients
• Collaborating with senior attorneys and partners on complex cases
• Managing case files and maintaining accurate records
• Performing other related tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in a law firm, preferably in personal injury law
• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in the state of Michigan
• Proven experience in litigation and legal research
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in legal drafting and negotiation
• Familiarity with legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the State Bar of Michigan
