Job Title: State & Local Tax Manager

Overview:
PwC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced State & Local Tax Manager to join our Income Franchise practice. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of problem solvers, helping our clients solve complex business issues related to tax laws, restructuring, and local tax developments. You will also have the chance to develop a strategy for our clients to stay ahead of and manage state and local tax burdens, as well as identify opportunities resulting from changes in legislation and administrative policies.

Salary Information:

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in state and local tax services.
- CPA, Member of the Bar, or other relevant certifications required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM systems a plus.

Responsibilities:
- Develop new skills outside of your comfort zone.
- Coach and mentor team members.
- Analyze complex ideas and provide recommendations.
- Use data and insights to inform decision-making.
- Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

Qualifications:
- Thorough knowledge of state and local tax laws.
- Technical skills in areas such as FAS 109, unitary filing, and tax research.
- Experience building and maintaining client relationships.
- Ability to supervise and lead teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
