Summary:

- Match Group, a leading provider of dating services globally, is seeking a motivated and talented lawyer to join their Tinder Legal team in West Hollywood.
- This hybrid role will primarily support Tinder's Marketing and Comms/PR initiatives in North America, reporting to a Senior Corporate Counsel on the team.

Experience Information:

- Law degree from an accredited law school
- Admission (or in-house eligibility) to practice law in California
- Minimum of four years' experience, with top law firm and in-house legal department experience preferred

Responsibilities:

- Provide legal input on culturally relevant creative ideas
- Overcome legal challenges in executable brand campaigns
- Advise on consumer-protection, advertising law, regulatory compliance, IP third party rights, and clearances
- Update and create templates, resources, and training materials
- Identify opportunities to improve legal resources and processes
- Drive compliance with corporate policies and procedures

Qualifications:

- Strong fact-finding, drafting, negotiating, writing, and research skills
- Experience with marketing law, consumer protection issues, and contract drafting and negotiation
- General understanding of privacy, intellectual property, digital and social media, influencer endorsement regulations, and consumer internet industry
- Comfortable taking initiative, problem-solving, and inspiring confidence among business partners
- Familiarity with US culture and trends, and experience with music licensing and/or talent and production deals is a bonus
