Job Details:

  • Meet with clients and potential clients to discuss case details and provide legal advice.
  • Carry the responsibility of assigned cases, conducting thorough reviews of discovery materials and providing in-depth analysis to senior attorneys.
  • Identify key case issues, conduct legal research, and draft pre-trial motions.
  • Investigate cases thoroughly and prepare evidence for trial.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials before juries and judges.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and staff members.
  • Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines and handle multiple cases simultaneously.

Requirements:

  • JD or equivalent degree with quality academic credentials.
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas, awaiting Bar results, or about to take the Bar exam in 2024.
  • Experience with criminal cases and trials or participation in mock trials, moot courts, and trial advocacy classes is preferred.
  • Exceptional research and writing skills.
  • Exceptional oral presentation skills.
  • High level of professionalism.
  • Ability to work effectively in teams.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
