Stamford office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a labor and employment associate attorney with 4-8 years of employment and/or labor law experience. The candidate will be an integral part of a team and build a sophisticated practice focused on counseling, compliance, workplace investigations, training, litigation, representation before state and federal agencies, board advisory work, and labor matters. Should have knowledge and understanding of Connecticut state and federal court procedural and evidentiary rules. Experience providing employment counseling to business leaders, conducting employment diligence, and advising on employment aspects of corporate transactions is preferred. Experience defending employment cases with partner oversight, including investigating claims, taking and defending depositions, engaging in the discovery process, preparing and arguing discovery, dispositive, and other motions in state and federal court, and representing clients in administrative proceedings is desired. Should preferably have proficiency in reviewing, advising on, and drafting multi-state workplace policies, employee handbooks, and related projects. Admission to the Connecticut Bar is required.
