Our Ratings Legal team plays a critical role in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and consistency of our ratings by identifying and evaluating legal risks in transaction structures and deal documents. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with other departments and contribute to investor outreach, research reports, and methodology reviews. Job Responsibilities: As a Ratings Attorney at KBRA, you will be responsible for reviewing financing documents and asset-level documents, identifying potential credit impacts, and coordinating with rating analysts on relevant legal issues. You will also participate in due diligence meetings and rating committees and support the analytical team in preparing KBRA's market-leading rating and research reports. Key Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should have at least five years of experience in Structured Finance and/or Fund Finance, ideally with experience in Fund Investment, Consumer ABS, Esoteric ABS, and/or CLOs. A JD and Bar admission in the United States are required. Strong communication, research, analytical, and organizational skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Salary and Benefits: The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000 to $230,000.
