The Tax Manager, Tax Automation & Innovation is a high-level position within the firm that is responsible for applying industry knowledge and experience to collaborate with clients and team members to implement tax automation tools. They are also responsible for marketing, networking, and business development, as well as assessing client tax departments and determining the best areas for automation. The role involves running engagements from proposal to deployment and providing ongoing maintenance and consulting support to clients. The Tax Manager, Tax Automation & Innovation may also collaborate with other offices within the firm to assist with delivering tax solutions and support the development of new internal tax solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Apply industry knowledge and experience to implement tax automation tools for clients
- Market, network, and develop business opportunities as directed
- Assess client tax departments and determine the best areas for automation
- Run engagements from proposal to deployment, including overseeing design, building, testing, and development of training and documentation
- Provide ongoing maintenance and consulting support to clients post-implementation
- Collaborate with other offices within the firm to assist with delivering tax solutions and support the development of new internal tax solutions

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, preferred in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or Technology
- Five (5) or more years of experience with technology or tax systems
- CPA certification, Attorney (admitted to practice in a . jurisdiction), or Internal Revenue Service Enrolled Agent (“EA”) (or the equivalent of one of these designations)
- Certification in Bloomberg, Corptax, Longview, Orbitax or Thomson Reuters
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with advanced skills preferred
- Experience with systems such as Bloomberg, Oracle, Thomson Reuters, Longview, OneStream or Corptax, RPA tools (UiPath, PowerAutomate, etc.), ETL tools (Alteryx, Power Query, Power Pivot, Tableau Prep, etc.), and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)

Salary Information:
- National Range: $76,000 - $160,000
- NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $76,000 - $160,000
