The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting depositions, developing litigation strategies, drafting litigation papers, managing cases independently, and performing investigations. The role also involves summarizing medical document reviews, preparing cases for trial, and reporting to insurance carriers and other clients. The associate attorney will have exposure to preparing motions, conducting examinations under oath and depositions, and conducting extensive document review in sophisticated insurance litigation.

Duties:

• Conduct depositions and examinations under oath.
• Develop comprehensive litigation strategies.
• Draft legal papers for insurance litigation cases.
• Independently manage and prioritize cases.
• Perform thorough investigations to gather relevant information.
• Summarize medical document reviews.
• Prepare cases for trial.
• Report progress to insurance carriers and other clients.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• 2-5 years of experience in insurance litigation.
