H1: Experienced Attorney Needed for Associate Senior Counsel Role at Cigna Government Segment
H2: Provide Strategic Legal Advice and Counsel for Medicare Advantage Programs

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide strategic, actionable legal advice and counsel for Cigna's Medicare Advantage programs, including EGWPs and D-SNP
- Advise on compliance and risk mitigation, FDR oversight, Medicare medical loss ratio, and other financial and reporting requirements
- Collaborate with colleagues across legal and compliance departments to ensure enterprise-wide compliance
- Serve as a subject matter expert on federal healthcare laws and regulations
- Act as a strategic advisor to internal clients and collaborate on response to proposed and new rules and regulations
- Work closely with Medicare Advantage Operations, Sales and Growth, Government Affairs, and Compliance teams
- Prepare executive-facing analyses and risk assessments

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and active Bar membership
- At least 8 years of experience in healthcare law, with experience advising Medicare Advantage Organizations required
- Strong knowledge of federal healthcare programs and health plan operations
- Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills
- Interpersonal skills to develop and manage relationships with business clients
- Demonstrated success in a highly matrixed environment
- Ability to identify issues and propose solutions
- Strong project, process, and knowledge management skills
- Resilience, strong work ethic, and effective time-management
- Experience in process and result analysis
- Willingness to take on challenging projects
