As a Manager in the Financial Markets Business Advisory team at PwC, you will be responsible for providing a variety of audit, regulatory, valuation, and financial analyses services to clients in the private equity industry. This role will require up to 60% travel and will be based in one of the following locations: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington DC, Boston, or New York.

Develop new skills outside of comfort zone and act to resolve issues which prevent the team working effectively.

Analyse complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations.
Use multiple sources of information to develop solutions and recommendations.
Address sub-standard work or work that does not meet firm/client expectations.
Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making.
Develop a point of view on key global trends and how they impact clients.
Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties.
Simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarising key points.
Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Minimum of five years of experience in a managerial role.
CPA license, CFA exam completion, or advanced degree in relevant field preferred.
Experience in financial analysis, capital markets, and product life cycle.
Familiarity with valuation methodologies and experience in determining equity allocation for financial reporting.
Knowledge of accounting, tax, and regulatory standards for complex financial instruments.
Ability to analyze and assess reasonableness of valuations and financial models prepared by others.
Understanding of complex financial structures and ability to assist clients in understanding them.
Experience in creating independent financial models using income or market approaches.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Proficiency in industry software such as INTEX, TREPP, Bloomberg, CapIQ, or advanced Excel modeling.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships and communicate value propositions.
Experience with project management and maintaining project economics.
Ability to provide timely and meaningful feedback to team members.
Familiarity with automation and digitization in a professional services environment.
Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship through the H-1B lottery.
