Job Summary:

As a Tax Senior Manager in BDO's Alternative Investments practice, you will play a key role in providing tax compliance and consulting services to clients in the Venture Capital, Private Equity, Hedge Fund, and Real Estate industries. This position is located in Boston, MA but offers opportunities for advancement and flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensuring clients comply with all tax laws while minimizing their tax and reporting burdens
- Preparing tax returns and ensuring all necessary information is collected
- Collaborating with team members to complete projects and deliver high quality tax services
- Identifying and implementing efficient tax strategies for clients
- Managing teams of tax professionals and building client relationships
- Documenting work and conclusions in client tax files

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant field required
- Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred
- At least 6 years of prior tax experience
- Experience in the financial services industry, specifically with Alternative Investment funds, preferred
- Proficiency in partnership taxation preferred
- CPA, Licensed Attorney, or Enrolled Agent required
- CFP or Masters in Tax preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tax research databases

Salary Information:

Individual salaries for this position range from $120,000 to $200,000, depending on qualifications, experience, skills, and location.
