Job Overview: The successful candidate will manage a significant caseload, representing clients in first-party property or PIP insurance litigation. They will handle all aspects of cases, from inception to post-trial, while maintaining a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.

Duties:

  • Manage a significant caseload from inception to post-trial.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
  • Prepare pleadings, discovery/discovery responses, motions, and other litigation documents.
  • Provide timely reports to insurance carriers and clients regarding case status and activities.
  • Develop client relationships through effective communication and legal representation.
  • Travel to various courthouses and other locations as required.
  • Meet monthly billing requirements.
  • Work in an office professional setting.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of first-party property or PIP defense litigation experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in first-party property claims and/or PIP litigation.
  • Expertise in all phases of litigation, from pleadings through trial.
  • Experience taking and defending depositions.
  • Strong oral advocacy and excellent writing skills.
  • Ability to evaluate cases effectively.
  • Good Standing Member of the Florida Bar.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Technological proficiency and comfort using process management systems and available technology for automation.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar.
