A law firm is seeking a Senior-Level Health Care Associate Attorney with the following qualifications:

Job Overview:

  • Title: Senior-Level Health Care Associate Attorney
  • Location: Reno, NV
  • Experience: 5+ years in health care regulatory and transactional matters and mergers and acquisitions

Duties:

  • Represent clients in health care regulatory and transactional matters
  • Provide counsel on business transactions, regulatory diligence, and structuring
  • Address fraud and abuse issues, including Stark and anti-kickback laws
  • Advise on licensure, enrollment, and reimbursement matters within Medicare and Medicaid frameworks
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork and client service
  • Manage internal and external client and counsel relationships effectively

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the Nevada State Bar or eligibility for admission by motion
  • 5+ years of experience in health care law, with a focus on regulatory and transactional matters
  • Experience representing providers and professional entities in various legal contexts

Preferred Experience:

  • Representation of clients in business transactions and regulatory diligence
  • Familiarity with fraud and abuse laws, including Stark and anti-kickback statutes
  • Knowledge of licensure, enrollment, and reimbursement issues within Medicare and Medicaid frameworks

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar of Nevada or eligibility for admission by motion
