Job Title: Tax Senior - Real Estate Tax (Central Region Office Locations)
Salary Range: $68,180 - $144,300

Position Summary:

- Opportunity to use the latest tax technologies in the real estate industry
- Serve clients in partnership allocation methodologies, Subchapter K, and tax compliance for real estate funds

Work You'll Do:

- Provide tax compliance and consulting services to investment management clients
- Identify complex tax issues and provide tax analysis for various entities and affiliates
- Perform detail-level reviews of partnership work papers, allocations, and tax returns
- Prepare materials and research for consulting projects
- Communicate and coordinate with clients to gather information for tax returns
- Train, mentor, and supervise tax staff

The Team:

- Global leaders in providing professional services to the Investment Management industry
- Cross-functional industry group with over 2,800 partners, managers, and staff
- Provide assurance and advisory, tax, enterprise risk, regulatory, and consulting services to a broad range of Investment Management companies

Qualifications:

Required:

- Ability to work within a hybrid work model that requires in-person collaboration 2-3 days per week
- 3+ years of experience in tax planning or preparing tax returns
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related field
- Active accreditation such as CPA, attorney, enrolled agent, CFA, or CFP
- Basic understanding of Subchapter K, partnership allocation methodologies, and tax compliance for real estate funds
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment
- Ability to travel up to 25% on average

Preferred:

- Advanced degree such as Masters of Tax, JD, and/or LLM
- Experience working in a virtual and/or global environment
- Passion for leveraging technology and exploring new solutions
- Experience with ASC740 accounting for income taxes
- Previous Big 4 or large CPA firm experience
- Strong research, writing, presentation, and communication skills

Compensation:

- Wage range takes into account factors such as skill sets, experience, training, and certifications
- Range estimate of $68,180 - $144,300
- Discretionary annual incentive program may be available
