A law firm is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor and Employment Associate Attorney to join their team in Chicago, IL.

Job Overview:

The Labor and Employment Associate Attorney will play a crucial role in providing legal counsel on labor and employment matters. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, with a preference for those with expertise in Wage and Hour and Class Action cases. The successful candidate must be a licensed attorney in the state of Illinois.

Duties:

• Provide legal advice and guidance on labor and employment issues.
• Conducted legal research and analysis to support cases and provided strategic recommendations.
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and court pleadings.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Stay current on changes in labor and employment laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the state of Illinois.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in labor and employment law.
• Should preferably have experience in Wage and Hour and Class Action cases.

Certifications:

• Active and valid license to practice law in the state of Illinois.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
