The ideal candidate should possess excellent courtroom and negotiation skills, along with the ability to manage cases from initiation to resolution.

Duties:

• Handle contested and uncontested divorce cases, custody disputes, and support matters.
• Draft legal motions, conduct depositions, and appear at court conferences and trials.
• Manage files comprehensively, ensuring thorough attention to detail from start to finish.
• Build and maintain positive client relationships, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues in a team-oriented environment.
• Utilize excellent writing skills for legal documents and courtroom presentations.
• Negotiate favorable settlements on behalf of clients.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Current license to practice law in New York State.
• 2+ years of practice experience, with a focus on Matrimonial/Family Law.

Skills:

• Extensive knowledge of contested and uncontested divorces, custody, and support cases.
• Strong courtroom advocacy skills.
