# Assistant Prosecuting Attorney – Marquette County A reputed firm in Marquette County is looking for an experienced Assistant Prosecuting Attorney who is responsible for a felony caseload of the circuit court. The successful candidate must have a law degree from an accredited law school and must be licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan. ## Key Responsibilities: - Reviews and authorizes requests for warrants - Determines the appropriate charge and prosecutes criminal cases - Resolves and disposes of criminal cases or tries cases in court - Manages the Probate Court caseload of the office - Manages Family Support cases - Serves in an on-call capacity 24/7 to review requests for arrest and search warrants - Provides information and advice to law enforcement, social services, mental health providers, Child Advocacy Center staff, and others on proceedings and matters under investigation ## Qualifications: - Law degree from an accredited law school - Licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan ## Salary Information: The salary for this position will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
