Job Overview:

The Medical Malpractice Attorney will defend civil litigation cases related to medical malpractice. This role requires a strong work ethic, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage cases effectively.

Duties:

  • Defend civil litigation cases related to medical malpractice.
  • Manage medical malpractice cases from inception to resolution.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Develop and implement case strategies.
  • Conduct client interviews and depositions.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of prior experience defending civil litigation cases.
  • Currently licensed to practice law in the State of Nevada.
  • Strong work ethic and proven medical case management skills.

  • Top-notch marketing and client development skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Competent computer skills in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Trial experience is a plus.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Nevada.
