A law firm in San Francisco is seeking a skilled Mid-to-Senior-Level Managed Care Litigation Associate Attorney with a strong background in complex commercial litigation and arbitration. The successful candidate will have excellent academic credentials and significant experience in managed care or health care matters.

 

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex managed care litigation matters.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and other legal documents.
  • Manage multiple cases and/or regulatory/compliance matters concurrently.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for litigation and counseling matters, coordinating with other team members and clients.
  • Act as a client liaison, providing updates and strategic advice as needed.
  • Participate in case management and client counseling activities.

 

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of law firm or relevant in-house experience.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Strong writing, research, analytical, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in complex commercial litigation and arbitration.
  • Prior experience in managed care or health care is required.
  • Ability to handle multiple cases and manage regulatory or compliance matters effectively.
  • Significant case management and/or client counseling experience preferred.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.
  • Experience with case management software.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in the managed care or health care industry.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
