Job Overview: A law firm in Austin, TX, is seeking an experienced Senior Associate Attorney or Counsel with a minimum of 6 years of healthcare regulatory and compliance experience. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in representing health insurers and various healthcare entities, providing legal guidance and expertise in the ever-evolving healthcare regulatory landscape.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and guidance on healthcare regulatory matters, compliance issues, and related legal issues to clients in the healthcare industry.
• Conduct legal research analysis and stay up-to-date on healthcare laws, regulations, and industry trends.
• Draft and review contracts, agreements, policies, and other legal documents related to healthcare regulatory compliance.
• Represent clients in administrative proceedings, investigations, and disputes related to healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals within the firm to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the State Bar of Texas.
• Minimum of 6 years of legal experience, with a strong emphasis on healthcare regulatory and compliance matters.
• Proven track record of representing health insurers and healthcare entities in legal matters.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state healthcare laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage a caseload, and meet deadlines effectively.
• Exceptional research and analytical skills.
• High level of professionalism and ethics.

Certifications:

• State Bar of Texas membership is required.
