Tax Manager - Federal Credits and Incentives - Washington National Tax:

- Full-time position in the tax practice of RSM's Washington National Tax office
- Focus on research and development credits and incentives

Responsibilities:

- Consult with clients and client engagement teams
- Generate thought leadership alerts, articles, and other content
- Liaise with Treasury, IRS, and Capitol Hill to monitor developments
- Lead internal knowledge sharing and develop client service offerings and tools
- Ensure focus on tax quality and client service excellence

Requirements:

- 5-7 years of continuous recent public accounting experience
- Experience with a Big 4 or large national, regional, or local accounting firm
- CPA license or JD required
- Expertise in federal tax credits, particularly R&D credit
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong research and technical writing skills
- Proficiency with technology and tax laws
- Ability to work with Treasury, IRS, and Capitol Hill
- Experience in tax controversy a plus
