Job Description:

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate for their International Tax Services team. This role will involve providing tax solutions and strategies to clients with cross-border tax needs. The Senior Associate will gain a global perspective and be responsible for managing global tax rates, reducing costs, and responding to regulatory inquiries.

Responsibilities:

- Provide tax advice and solutions to clients based on their geography and jurisdiction
- Assist with local tax laws, reporting requirements, statutory filings, corporate strategy, transfer pricing, and indirect tax
- Review work and ensure quality, accuracy, and relevance
- Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to tackle complex business issues
- Demonstrate self-awareness and personal development through feedback and reflection
- Delegate tasks to others to provide stretch opportunities and coach them to deliver results
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and use tools and techniques to extract insights
- Seek opportunities for exposure to different situations and perspectives
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct

Additional Responsibilities:

PwC is a technology-enabled tax advisor and this role will involve leveraging digitization, automation, and increased efficiencies to provide value to clients. The Senior Associate will also be responsible for staying up-to-date with industry knowledge and insights and using the One Firm approach to solve client needs.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate tax, public accounting, or law firm
- CPA certification or commitment to pass the exam before promotion to Manager
- Member of the Bar (JD, LLM, or Master's in Accounting or Taxation may also be considered)

Preferred Qualifications:

- Thorough knowledge of corporate tax, international taxation, and tax research
- Experience in public accounting, law firm, or corporate tax department of a multinational company
- Technical skills in structural realignment, tax rate analysis, and improving tax efficiencies
- Experience in identifying and addressing client needs, managing resources and budgets, and coaching staff
- Ability to research industry trends and develop a point of view to assist with proposals
- Exposure to automation and digitization in a professional services environment
- Knowledge of pricing, client value, and negotiation process
- Familiarity with large, complex data sets and data visualization tools
