Job Overview:

  • Handling labor and employment matters, including counseling, litigation, and investigations
  • Utilizing experience in employment counseling, single-plaintiff litigation, class/collective action litigation, and investigations

 

Duties:

  • Providing legal advice and counseling to clients on labor and employment law matters
  • Conducting legal research and drafting memoranda, opinions, and other legal documents
  • Representing clients in single-plaintiff litigation matters, including discrimination and wrongful termination cases
  • Handling class and collective action litigation involving wage and hour disputes and other employment-related claims
  • Conducting internal investigations into workplace complaints and advising clients on appropriate actions
  • Assisting with compliance efforts, including drafting policies and procedures and conducting training sessions
  • Collaborating with senior attorneys and support staff on case management and strategy

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the Bar in Pennsylvania or eligibility for admission
  • 2-4 years of experience in labor and employment law or general litigation
  • Excellent academic credentials with strong writing skills
  • Meaningful experience with employment counseling, single-plaintiff litigation, class/collective action litigation, and investigations

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Bar in Pennsylvania or eligibility for admission
