A law firm in Columbus, Ohio, is actively seeking a highly qualified and experienced Shareholder to join its team. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum book of $200K with a general focus on Labor and Employment law. Candidates with a background in wage & hour or labor law are highly desirable, and those with a sophisticated civil litigation practice, willing to shift to Labor and Employment 100%, will also be considered.

Duties

  • Develop and manage a robust portfolio of clients in the Labor & Employment practice area.
  • Provide expert legal counsel and representation in matters related to wage & hour, labor law, and civil litigation.
  • Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to strategize and handle complex cases effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and legal expertise.
  • Stay updated on changes in labor laws and employment regulations to provide accurate and timely advice to clients.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Ohio State Bar and in good standing.
  • Minimum of [X] years of experience practicing law, with a focus on Labor & Employment.
  • Proven track record of managing a minimum book of $200K.
  • A strong background in wage & hour or labor law is highly preferred.
  • Experience in civil litigation with a willingness to shift focus to Labor and Employment.
