Staff Legal Attorney II - Join Zurich North America Claims Team in Irvine

Role Summary:

- Represent Company's insureds in all phases of litigation for matters of moderate technical complexity
- Achieve best outcomes for clients by demonstrating technical excellence in case handling, trial preparation and presentation
- Document case files accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with claims adjusters to develop case strategy and ensure timely resolution
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through education and staying current with industry trends
- Protect Zurich's reputation by maintaining confidentiality of claims information

Basic Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor and 5+ years of experience in Litigation
- Member of the Bar in good standing in jurisdiction(s) in which practice is located
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and legal research tools
- Knowledge of insurance industry, claims, and insurance defense litigation

Preferred Qualifications:

- Effective communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills
- Experience working in a team-based environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Salary Information:

- Compensation varies depending on location, role, skill set, and experience
- Starting salary range for this position is $96, - $157,
