The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills, possess experience in preparing pleadings, conducting depositions, and motion practice, and be able to efficiently resolve cases. Trial experience is a plus for this position.

Duties:

• Analyze legal issues related to general liability cases and develop effective strategies for resolution.
• Communicate regularly with claims professionals, documenting all communication and progress on cases.
• Prepare pleadings, including complaints, answers, and motions, in general liability matters.
• Conduct depositions of witnesses and parties involved in legal proceedings.
• Engage in motion practice, including drafting and arguing motions before the court.
• Assist in trial preparation, including witness preparation and evidence organization.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and settlement discussions.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on general liability matters.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar and be in good standing.
• 4+ years of experience practicing general liability law.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education and Certifications:
