A law firm in San Francisco, CA, is seeking an Estate Planning Associate Attorney with a focus on general Trust Administration, Estate Planning, Conservatorships, and Court Supervised matters. The ideal candidate will have a compassionate approach to providing legal guidance to clients during challenging situations and possess strong drafting skills with meticulous attention to detail.

 

Duties:

  • Handle general Trust Administration, Estate Planning, Conservatorships, and Court Supervised matters.
  • Draft legal documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and conservatorship petitions, with great attention to detail.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with the support team to ensure efficient and organized work processes.
  • Maintain a work/life balance with a manageable annual billable hour requirement of 1,400 hours.
  • Provide compassionate and empathetic guidance to clients, particularly during difficult circumstances.
  • Attend conferences and participate in ongoing training and mentoring programs to enhance professional development.
  • Preference for experience with both Court and Non-Court Supervised Trust Administration, and Conservatorships.
  • Admitted to the California State Bar and in good standing.

 

Requirements:

  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Ideally, 3+ years of experience practicing estate planning and probate law.
  • Strong drafting skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Exceptional work ethic and a drive to excel in providing legal services.
  • Familiarity with billable hour requirements and ability to manage time effectively.
