A law firm seeks a dedicated Civil Litigation Attorney for its Sudbury, MA office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of litigated matters, including but not limited to:

Job Overview:

  • Handling all aspects of litigated matters from inception to resolution
  • Working with the principal on significant cases while also managing independent caseload efficiently
  • Providing analysis and strategic recommendations to clients
  • Preparing cases for trial and representing clients in court proceedings

Duties:

  • Drafting and responding to pleadings
  • Conducting depositions
  • Attending mediations and conciliations
  • Drafting motions
  • Providing analysis and strategic recommendations to clients
  • Preparing cases for trial

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admitted to the Bar in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, licensing is strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in civil litigation
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook

Skills:

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
