Qualifications:

JD degree from an accredited law school
Active member in good standing with the Arizona State Bar
2 plus years litigation experience in civil rights defense or other complex civil litigation
Strong experience with motion practice, discovery dispute, conducting depositions, making court appearances and trial preparation
Excellent oral advocacy and written communications skills

Job Responsibilities:

Represent clients in court proceedings, including pre-trial hearings, motions, trials, and appeals
Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, briefs, memoranda, and other legal documents

Assist in the preparation of witnesses for trial
Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel
Develop and maintain relationships with clients
