Key Responsibilities:

- Draft and negotiate highly complex multinational agreements with large global merchant organizations
- Provide quick, concise, and high-quality legal advice to support PayPal's sales teams
- Coordinate cross-functionally within PayPal to effectively craft deal strategies
- Provide innovative advice in the areas of technology, licensing, and payment/financial services
- Identify and mitigate risk and regulatory issues
- Maintain exceptional writing skills for drafting, editing, and writing legal documents
- Build credibility with business partners and exercise good business judgment

Requirements:

- Juris Doctorate or equivalent degree with state bar membership
- Minimum of 8 years of experience practicing in-house or at a law firm
- Experience managing large deal closings and negotiating complex agreements with external parties
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and navigate legal, compliance, and business needs
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner with internal and external stakeholders globally
- Experience in the financial services, fintech, or technology industries
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to generate creative legal documents
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in teams
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
