The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing legal counsel and representation to clients navigating immigration matters.

Duties:

• Represent clients in immigration court proceedings, specializing in Removal Defense and Family Immigration cases.
• Conduct legal research, analyze case precedents, and prepare legal strategies.
• Draft and file legal documents, including but not limited to petitions, applications, and affidavits.
• Communicate with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and provide updates on case status.
• Attend immigration hearings, trials, and interviews on behalf of clients.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar and eligibility to practice law in Illinois.
• 0-5 years of relevant experience in family immigration law.
• Immigration court experience is a significant plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the state bar in Illinois.
