Job Overview:

The Litigation Associate Attorney will handle personal injury and commercial litigation cases, demonstrating strong analytical, writing, research, and communication skills. The candidate should be able to work independently, draft and argue motions, and take and defend depositions.

Duties:

• Handle personal injury and commercial litigation cases
• Draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and briefs
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
• Take and defend depositions
• Argue motions in court
• Work proactively and independently on case matters

Requirements:

• Admitted attorney (or admission pending) in the areas of personal injury and commercial litigation
• Strong analytical, writing, research, and communication skills
• Experience drafting and arguing motions preferred
• Ability to work independently and proactively

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Admitted attorney in the areas of personal injury and commercial litigation

Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, GoogleDocs, and DropBox
• Familiarity with legal research platforms such as Westlaw and Lexis
• Knowledge of case management software (Time Matters a plus)
