A law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team in Chicago, IL. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of litigation matters, collaborating with experienced attorneys to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients.

Job Overview:

• Worked on various litigation matters, collaborating with senior attorneys.
• Draft legal documents and assist in all phases of litigation and arbitration processes.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various litigation matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Assist in all phases of the litigation and arbitration process, including discovery, depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and tactics.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
• Attend court proceedings and represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in litigation.
• Illinois Bar admission.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Illinois Bar admission.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents.
• Experience with court proceedings and litigation processes.
