Responsibilities:

- Provide legal expertise in support of HP portfolio for end-user customers, including Hardware, Software, Support, and Managed Services.
- Act as lead attorney for large, complex Managed Services deals and work closely with account and pursuit teams.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the business teams on legal issues and impact on business decisions.
- Draft and negotiate legal contract terms.
- Provide legal support for competitive bids and respond to end-user legal terms.
- Identify and resolve complex legal issues.
- Lead or assist in resolving contract disputes.
- Plan and provide training on legal topics to internal clients.
- Contribute to the development of innovative solutions and processes.
- Support Legal's commitment to continuous improvement.

Requirements:

- Juris Doctor degree from a nationally recognized law school.
- Active bar membership in any of the fifty states or the District of Columbia.
- 5+ years of relevant legal experience, including law firm, government, and/or in-house experience in public sector contracting.
- Experience with State, Local, and Education (SLED) customers preferred.
- Prior negotiation experience in complex transactions.
- Subject matter expertise in key legal topics.
- Knowledge of industry norms and legal and business issues related to IT products and services.
- Strong judgment, initiative, and self-confidence.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a changing environment.
- Ability to escalate issues effectively to high-level executives.
- Growth mindset approach.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
