Job Title: Business Attorney (Corporate Counsel)

Experience: Juris Doctorate and experience in business law required.

Responsibilities:

- Provide legal support and advice to company leadership and executive officers
- Coordinate with executive management to understand corporate objectives
- Engage external counsel as needed for various legal matters
- Review legal agreements and make recommendations for successful execution
- Assist with execution of documents for mergers and acquisitions
- Develop and execute a plan to audit contract compliance and ensure all corporate documents are in good order
- Utilize technology and contract management software to receive, document, and execute contracts
- Organize and file legal documents and correspondence

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctorate and successful passing of the bar exam
- Active license from the State Bar Association
- Experience in business law
- Willingness to work on-site at New Pig headquarters in Tipton, PA
- Strong sense of initiative and internal motivation
- Critical thinking skills and ability to make timely and tough business decisions
- Ability to work in a complex, global environment and drive results
- Strong research skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to develop detailed reports and speak effectively before diverse groups
- Strong operational and financial acumen
- Knowledge of ERP systems and process tools
