Duties:

  • Conduct research and analyze cases to determine if the Firm can pursue them.
  • Interpret laws for clients and help them understand all their legal rights and responsibilities.
  • Aim to resolve cases as quickly and favorably as possible.
  • Manage pre-litigation team.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, including legal briefs, appeals, pleadings, discovery requests & responses, demands, motions and memorandums.
  • Attend depositions, mediations, trials, arraignments, hearings, and negotiate settlements.
  • Day-to-day management of your team.
  • Undergo ongoing training to stay updated about changes and new developments in the legal field.

Requirements:

  • Juris has a Doctor of Law degree from an American Bar Association-accredited law school.
  • Passed Florida State Bar exam.
  • 3+ years of experience in either Personal Injury or Criminal Law.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and research skills.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of cases in various stages.
