Director, Contracts Administration - Legal & Compliance Full-time Date : Feb 01, 2024 Location: Atlanta, GA Job Type: Full-time Overview The Director, Contracts Administration will lead a team responsible for developing and managing legal binding client incentive agreements and amendments for Visa. This role requires knowledge of industry best practices in legal drafting and contract management, and will involve collaboration with cross-functional senior leadership in Legal, Finance, Product, and Sales. The ideal candidate will have experience in the payments industry and be a self-directed, analytical, and strategic thinker. Key Responsibilities - Manage a team responsible for developing and managing legal binding client incentive agreements and amendments - Partner with stakeholders throughout Visa to develop and manage complex commercial agreements and contracts - Advocate for the Sales organization while working closely with Finance, Legal, and Audit - Identify opportunities for process improvement and adding value to stakeholders and partners - Participate in special assignments and provide ad hoc support and reporting as required - Work with cross-functional teams to balance legal, regulatory, and brand risks against business objectives - Provide leadership, oversight, and direction on client contracts and the contract review process at Visa Qualifications Basic Qualifications - 10+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8+ years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3+ years of work experience with a PhD Preferred Qualifications - 12+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD - Experience in the payments industry and knowledge of Visa Products and Services - Prior experience managing staff in a dynamic, fast-paced environment - Strong understanding of the payments industry and related laws and regulations - Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to manage pressure and tight deadlines - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask - Strategic thinking and process improvement experience - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel - Experience with Salesforce, Apttus, or similar contract management software preferred - Experience with DocuSign or e-signature tools preferred Additional Information - This position may require travel 5-10% of the time - The position will be performed in an office setting - Visa is an EEO Employer and considers qualified applicants with criminal histories in accordance with EEOC guidelines and applicable local law - Salary for this position may range from $124,900 to $162,400 per year, and may include potential sales incentive payments - Visa offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, life insurance, PTO, and wellness programs
