The associate attorney will handle a wide range of labor and employment matters, including traditional labor issues, administrative law, and civil litigation. The ideal candidate will have experience advising both public and private sector employers on various employment issues, conducting workplace investigations, and representing clients in employment-related litigation.

 

Duties:

  • Advise public and private sector employers on labor and employment issues, including hiring, termination, employee discipline, and contract negotiations.
  • Represent clients in interest arbitrations, grievance arbitrations, and employment-related litigation.
  • Conduct workplace investigations into allegations of employee misconduct.
  • Provide counsel to employers on compliance with labor and employment laws and regulations.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on labor and employment law issues.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with firmwide teams on case strategy and tactics.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar.
  • 6-8 years of experience in labor and employment law.
  • Strong writing and analytical skills.
  • Excellent academic background.
  • Ability to work as part of a firmwide team.

 

Education:
