A law firm in Chicago is seeking an Antitrust/Competition Associate Attorney. The candidate should have significant interest in or experience with merger reviews. FTC/DOJ experience is a plus.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on antitrust laws and regulations.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents related to merger reviews.
• Participate in client meetings and effectively communicate legal strategies and recommendations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on transactional-based work related to antitrust and competition law.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Illinois bar or eligibility for admission.
• 1-5 years of experience focusing on transactional-based work.
• Strong interest in or experience with antitrust and competition law, particularly merger reviews.
• FTC/DOJ experience is considered a plus.

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the Illinois Bar or eligibility for admission.
