Tax Senior - Nat'l Federal Tax Services - Partnership Solutions Group

Position Summary:

- Seeking experienced tax specialist with expertise in federal/tax and partnership tax compliance
- Opportunity to work with large-scaled operating partnership tax clients across various industries
- Ability to deliver value to clients experiencing a public offering and interact with external counsel and underwriters
- Responsibilities include assisting with public offering transactions, developing cutting-edge technology, and implementing strategic tax structures and processes
- Opportunity to participate in marketplace activities, recruiting, and process and technology innovation

The Team:

- National Federal Tax Services (NFTS) is a national practice within Deloitte Tax LLP
- NFTS service lines provide tax planning for the largest organizations across all industries
- Operational Partnership Services (OPS) service line is a part of the Partnership Solutions Group within NFTS
- OPS professionals counsel privately-held and publicly-traded partnerships on various federal tax issues
- Industries served include private equity, real estate, telecom, technology, healthcare, media & entertainment, energy, retail, and financial services

Qualifications:

- Ability to work within a hybrid work model, with in-person co-location 2-3 days per week
- 2+ years of experience in federal partnership tax
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related field
- Strong numerical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Project, Word, Excel, and Visio
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment
- Demonstrated research skills
- Self-starter with ability to handle multiple priorities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Up to 25% travel may be required
- Accreditation such as CPA, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, PMP, or CFA preferred
- Advanced degree and previous Big 4 or large CPA firm experience a plus
- Transaction and M&A experience and Alteryx experience preferred

Salary Information:

- Range estimate of $77,070 to $175,500
- Eligibility for discretionary annual incentive program based on individual and organizational performance
