Job Duties:

  • Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs for filing in State Court and Federal Court.

  • Conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, medical experts, and liability experts.
  • Serve discovery requests and file relevant motions.
  • Maintain direct communication with clients to provide updates on case status.

  • Provide Anti-Harassment and Anti-Discrimination training to public entity employees.
  • Utilize a working knowledge of Court Rules and Rules of Evidence.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Labor/Employment Law with a focus on defense litigation.
  • Possess exceptional legal research and writing skills.
  • Apply litigation experience to effectively represent clients.

Requirements:

  • Must be licensed and in good standing in the State of New Jersey.
  • Prior experience in Defense Litigation is a must.
  • Working knowledge of Court Rules and Rules of Evidence.
  • Substantial experience in Labor/Employment Law.
  • Litigation experience is necessary.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New Jersey State Bar.

Skills:
