LSSM, a nonprofit legal organization, is seeking a full-time licensed attorney for their Springfield, MO office. The staff attorney will provide comprehensive legal services to individuals from diverse backgrounds in a 19-county service area. This is a great opportunity for an attorney with a passion for poverty law to make a positive impact in their community.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal representation and advice to clients in a variety of civil cases
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other agencies involved in cases
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents
- Travel to various locations within the 19-county service area as needed

Qualifications:
- Must be licensed to practice law in Missouri
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience and/or commitment to working with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Passion and/or commitment to poverty law

Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary dependent on experience
- Travel reimbursement
