Position Summary:

As Jr. Counsel for Global Commercial Operations at Energizer Holdings, Inc., you will be responsible for providing legal advice and support on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters for a consumer products company. This is a full-time position based in Bogotá, Colombia and reports to the Counsel for Global Commercial Operations.

Responsibilities:

- Provide legal support to Energizer's global Commercial organization
- Draft, negotiate, and review complex commercial contracts
- Advise on day-to-day matters for a global commercial team
- Manage outside counsel when necessary
- Respond to legal inquiries from internal stakeholders and manage risk
- Handle various legal matters outside of day-to-day responsibilities

Requirements:

- Juris Doctorate degree (JD) from an accredited institution
- Member in good standing of at least one bar
- 4-6 years of experience in commercial law, including experience with retail, agency, and distribution strategies
- Proactive and strategic thinker
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English
- Ability to make sound judgments under pressure
- Strong customer service focus
- Collaborative and able to build positive relationships
- Ability to work independently and evaluate and mitigate risk
- Global mindset and able to work virtually with colleagues around the globe
- Willingness to take on new projects outside of day-to-day responsibilities

Working Relationships:

- Reports to Counsel, Global Commercial Operations in Bogotá, Colombia
- Collaborates with attorneys, paralegals/specialists, and Global Commercial teams

Work Environment:

This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office in Bogotá, Colombia and the flexibility to work remotely on certain days.
