Job Overview:

The Mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney will handle patent disputes and provide legal counsel to clients in technical fields. This role requires expertise in electrical engineering, computer science, or similar disciplines and practical work experience in the relevant technical field.

Duties:

  • Conducting pre-suit investigation and case analysis for patent disputes.
  • Drafting legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs.
  • Managing discovery processes, including document production and depositions.
  • Representing clients in court proceedings, including trials and appeals.
  • Providing strategic guidance to clients on patent litigation matters.
  • Collaborating with other attorneys and legal staff on case strategies and client representation.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar (active and in good standing).
  • 4-6 years of experience, specifically in litigating patent disputes.
  • Strong understanding of patent law and litigation procedures.
  • A background in electrical engineering, computer science, or related fields is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex cases and work independently.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Education and Certifications:
