Corporate Procurement Counsel - A Challenging and Exciting Opportunity

Vestas is looking for a Corporate Procurement Counsel to join their team in Portland, OR. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to work remotely. In this role, you will provide legal counsel and support to the procurement and supply chain teams for Vestas' . and Canadian operations. You will also work closely with global legal and business colleagues on multi-jurisdictional transactions and initiatives. This is a fast-paced job that requires building relationships with senior leaders and key business partners.

Key Responsibilities:

- Negotiate, draft, and review various procurement, transport, real estate, and other supply chain-related agreements
- Conduct legal research and provide advice on compliance issues
- Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures
- Effectively supervise outside counsel and other third-party advisors
- Advise on risk management strategies related to contracts and projects
- Develop and deliver training on legal and compliance issues
- Stay up to date on relevant legal developments
- Exhibit strong communication and analytical skills

Qualifications:

- 7+ years of experience practicing law
- Experience with complex commercial transactions
- Client service orientation
- Strong negotiating, drafting, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
