The Insurance Tax Manager will be responsible for providing tax services to our Financial Services clients. This includes advising clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners. The role will also involve helping organisations understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties, as well as providing advice on tax implications of deals. The successful candidate will be part of a team that helps Financial Services clients navigate the frequently changing and complex national and international tax environment, and will have the opportunity to work with clients in different jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities for the Insurance Tax Manager include:

- Providing tax services to Financial Services clients, including advising on local and overseas tax affairs, strategic consulting, and tax implications of deals.
- Helping organisations understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties.
- Managing working capital and profit sharing for partners.
- Navigating the complex and constantly changing national and international tax environment for Financial Services clients.
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients and identifying new business opportunities.
- Coaching and mentoring team members, providing feedback and support for their personal development.
- Upholding the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in tax, preferably in the insurance industry.
- CPA or member of the Bar certification required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of tax issues affecting the insurance industry, both domestic and international.
- Comprehensive technical skills in FAS 109, FIN 48, tax provision preparation audit and review, and corporate and partnership tax compliance.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience as a team leader, supervising and coaching staff.
- Familiarity with CRM systems preferred.
- Knowledge of automation and digitization in a professional services environment.
- Ability to work with large, complex data sets and utilize data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with alternative fee arrangements and pricing strategies.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% for client engagements.
