Position: Tax Senior - Nat'l Federal Tax Services - Partnership Solutions Group
Salary Range: $77,070 - $175,500 (not including potential bonuses)
Experience Level: 2+ years in federal partnership tax
Location: 61 locations nationwide
Department: Operational Partnership Services (OPS) within the Partnership Solutions Group at National Federal Tax Services (NFTS)

Position Summary:

- Seeking tax specialist with experience in federal/tax and/or partnership tax compliance who is looking for a more dynamic and technology-driven role.
- Opportunity to work with large-scale operating partnership tax clients in various industries such as private equity, healthcare, tech, and more.
- Involved in public offering transactions, including SPACs, and working with external counsel, underwriters, and client executives.
- Utilize cutting-edge technology to develop solutions for . federal income tax principles and data analytics.
- Participate in marketplace activities, recruiting, and process and technology innovation.

Responsibilities:

- Refine skills by working with large-scaled operating partnership tax clients.
- Work with various industries, including private equity, healthcare, tech, and more.
- Assist clients with public offering transactions and work with Up-C clients on an ongoing basis.
- Develop an understanding of the public monetization transactional process.
- Create cutting-edge technology for partnership tax, data analytics, and user experience.
- Implement strategic tax structures and processes for clients.
- Determine and solve complexities related to . federal income tax impact.
- Participate in marketplace activities, recruiting, and process and technology innovation.
- Identify service opportunities, manage client accounts, and advance various Deloitte initiatives.

Qualifications:

Required:

- Ability to work in a hybrid work model, co-locating in person 2-3 days per week.
- 2+ years of experience in federal partnership tax.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related field.
- Numerical-problem-solving focus.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Word, Excel, and Visio.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Demonstrated research skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 25%, based on client needs and industry/sector served.
- One of the following accreditations obtained, in process, or willing and able to obtain: CPA, licensed attorney, Enrolled Agent, PMP, or CFA.

Preferred:

- Advanced degree such as MST, JD, or LLM.
- Previous experience with Big 4 or large CPA firms.
- Transaction and M&A experience.
- Alteryx experience.

Salary Information:

- The disclosed range estimate does not include geographic differentials and may vary based on factors such as skill sets, experience, licensure, and certifications.
- The current estimated range is $77,070 - $175,500.
- Compensation decisions are dependent on individual circumstances and may not reflect the top end of the range for this role.
