The candidate will provide legal counsel to corporate clients and private equity funds on various transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, minority investments, and general corporate matters.

 

Job Overview:

  • Advise corporate clients and private equity funds on M&A transactions and general corporate matters.
  • Review and draft transaction documents and manage deals effectively.
  • Duties:
  • Provide legal advice and support on M&A transactions, dispositions, and minority investments.
  • Draft and review transaction documents.
  • Assist in due diligence investigations.
  • Manage and negotiate deals with clients and counterparties.
  • Provide general corporate legal support as required.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Texas State Bar.
  • 4-7 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on M&A transactions and private equity.
  • Strong understanding of corporate law and market terms.
  • Significant experience in reviewing and drafting transaction documents.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Texas State Bar.
