The successful candidate will handle various civil litigation matters and be responsible for factual investigations, legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, conducting examinations, and providing trial support. The candidate must possess exceptional academic credentials, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage a busy caseload independently while meeting deadlines.

Duties:

• Conduct factual investigations related to civil litigation cases
• Perform legal research to support case strategies and arguments
• Draft pleadings, substantive motions, and persuasive case evaluation summaries
• Prepare thoughtful written discovery requests and responses
• Conduct examinations under oath, depositions, and provide trial support as needed

Requirements:

• Excellent academic background with a JD from an accredited law school
• 1-6 years of experience in civil litigation
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Established research and writing capabilities
• Ability to independently manage a busy caseload and work under pressure
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills
• Ability to build and foster client relationships
• Willingness to accept constructive feedback

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar of Michigan (preferred)
